As the kids go off to school today, I wonder if there teachers/schools will do anyth anything in remembrance to 9/11? Unfortinately I do not have much hope as they never have done before. The only reason why our kids even know about 9/11 is becauae Sharon and I make a point to let them know what this day means and how scarey of a day it was for all of us. PATHETIC of our schools system to let this day go by year after year with no moment of silence or some kind of tribute to the lives lost and the first responder heroic efforts on this day. Hoping I am wrong!!
