As the light of this day in history, sets on the horizon, I am thankful that I was not a victim on that fateful day. I am thankful to those that sacrificed themselves to rescue and protect others in need, without a single thought of self preservation. I am thankful that a group of passengers over Pennsylvania said Not my plane! Not again... And lastly, I am so very thankful to the men and women in uniform, who if called upon soon to stop yet another threat to our sovereignty, will say Here Am I, Send Me.... LETS ROLL! ...as I remember the incredibly clear sky at the sunset of that day 13 years ago, I am thankful.
