As the sun sets slowly in the west we bid a fond farewell to all the friends weve made... and, with a touch of melancholy, we look forward to the time when we will all be together again... Facebook, its been fun. But, like all good things, it must come to an end. So, this is where we part ways. Who knows, maybe somewhere down the road Ill come back. But right now, Im okay with saying good bye. And as for you, dear reader, if you have my cell number or email, feel free to send me a message. Otherwise, next time I see you, well have a lot to talk about and things to catch up on, and I look forward to that! :D But yeah... Facebook... a place where theres connection, but with it, a sense of disconnection. There is something sad in that. And when I come on here, its a feeling I just cant shake. Plus, I have now become selfish. Selfish in that I want to keep my focus on whats in front of me. Selfish in that I want all my time to be filled with studying and learning more about this Christian walk of mine. Selfish in that I want more of God. My life just doesnt work if Hes not at the centre of it all. I dont mean to be selfish, but I just cant help it. So, this is me letting go. Come Monday, I shall deactivate this facebook life of mine.
