As this year draws to a close, I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who supported and inspired me musically this year. Whether it was following my Podcasts, enjoying yourselves on my dance floors, producers, artists and DJs who shared or turned me on to great music, fellow DJs who I heard play amazing sets, or promoters and venue owners who hired me to do what I love to do, I sincerely appreciate each and every one of you. It was a year full of highlights and special times, including the Bennie & the Jets moment at the Picnic, Chicago SummerDance, playing tributes to FK at the IPW international travel conference and at Primary Nightclub, some wonderful nights at Chant, an 8-hour marathon set at Da House Spot, and being blessed to do what I love on the road with great parties and good times in Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami and Amsterdam. To my Chosen Few brothers, an amazing year. DJ sets, production work, a Grammy, wow! So much on the table for 2015! Above all, 2014 will be remembered in the house music community as the year we lost our guiding light, Frankie Knuckles. I was truly honored to be asked to speak at his memorial service, and to be his friend. We shall collectively carry on and try to make him proud. Looking forward to an amazing 2015!
