As time gets close I wanted to thank my friends and family who have encouraged and supported me. The Jarvis campaign has been funded by, the Jarvis family. Not that I wnat to boast but I believe enough in wanting to improve education to the point that personally investing in this was not an issue. My affiliation is to the people, staff, students and stakeholders that I hope to serve with. I have been involved with building and putting up my own signs. Thank you to Terry F, Darren J, Aaron J, Brian W. Ace signs for this years signs, Stephen and Janine for the original signs, Kathlyn and Dawson. My time spent in the school board room attending so many meetings over the past 7 years has been a great form of education. My hope is that I will get the chance to help students improve their chances of graduation and encourage them to become successful community people when they do graduate. Sorry for all the I and me and my statements but that is what this kind of a journey is about. Believing in oneself and letting others cheer you along the way. Please consider letting people know that Karen Jarvis does not have a personal agenda. My agenda is for improved education and relationship building. On November 30th, please consider voting Karen Jarvis for Chilliwack School Trustee.
