As time moves on its important to remember! ON THIS DATE in 1989, the 4th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremonies are held at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in NYC. At just 38 years old, STEVIE WONDER became the youngest living person to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Other inductees include Dion, Otis Redding, The Rolling Stones, and The Temptations. VIDEO: In 1967, I WAS MADE TO LOVE HER, co-written by 17-year-old STEVIE, his mother Lula Mae Hardaway, Sylvia Moy (who wrote several hits for Stevie) and Motown producer Henry Cosby, hit #2 on the Hot 100 pop sibngles chart, #1 on the R&B chart & #5 in the UK. His first album, The Jazz Soul of Little Stevie, was released in 1962 on Tamla (Motown) & didnt chart (neither did his 2nd album, Tribute to Uncle Ray - but his 3rd LP, Recorded Live: The 12 Year Old Genius hit #1 on the Billboard Top 200 pop album chart. His most recent album, A Time to Love, (also on Tamla) - his 23rd studio album - came out in 2005, hitting #5 on the Top 200 & #2 on the R&B chart & was certified gold.
