As we approach the New Year, I am reminded of a couple of things. First, as always, I think, Where did this year go?! I cannot believe we are about to close out 2014 and ring in a New Year with great hope and all the anticipation that it will bring. Second, I am thankful for the blessings I enjoy in my life. How grateful I am to be living where I live, working where I work, and enjoying the company of family and friends. As I continue my reflection, I am reminded that there are others who are struggling. This is a difficult time of year for many. Anytime of the year, for that matter, is difficult for those in need. It is for those who find themselves in need or in a crisis mode of some kind that 1 Step 2 Hope wants to help.
