As we drive back to Tennessee from Chicago I want to start off by saying thank you to those who heard my Dad passed and sent their condolences. My dad went to his heavenly home last Friday, December 19th. Although we knew he was sick & his life here on earth was coming to an end it still hit me harder than I had expected. I feel like I have been in auto-pilot the past week just trying to survive getting through what I needed to. We packed all the presents for the kids & celebrated Christmas up in IL the day after we buried my dad. My kids had a good Christmas, but things just dont feel right. It doesnt seem like the holidays have come and gone. I havent posted anything about my dad passing before now because I just couldnt wrap my head around it. Please keep my family & I in your prayers as we each grieve in our own way and hopefully are able to lean on God for the comfort & strength needed. P.S.
