As we get closer to Marathon Monday I have so many feelings and emotions about the day. Theres a constant reminder every day whether news reports, tv specials, magazine covers, emails, etc. Part of me is very excited but part of me is god damn scared. Not necessarily because of another horrific event but just how the day will be changed for so many people. Running the last mile last year about a month after the race was really hard. And I didnt go to the finish line area for a long time after what happened. I cant wait to be back in Boston and running with my teammates and other people who love this city so much, but Im also scared. I think thats very normal and ok!
