As we get deeper into this race, many of us will take off the fake smiles, and it is inevitable that the mud will begin to fly. As many of you know, Mike claims no perfection, admitting that he, like all of us, has made mistakes in the past. It is public record that he had two DUI misdemeanor driving infractions several years ago. He makes no excuses for his mistakes, and has paid for them, as any other ordinary citizen of Columbus County. This is no secret to those who personally know Mike, but there is no doubt that this will be used against him. He has asked that we post this information so that it comes straight from him, rather than being misconstrued from another source, or from those who seek to inhibit his candidacy. He also plans to post this in the News Reporter in an effort to clear the air and get back to the important issues at hand. His primary agenda if elected Sheriff, is to clean up this crime and gang-ridden county. Candidate Walker thanks you for your support thus far.
