As we go through life let us not forget our humble beginnings. At some point in our lives we had to be given an opportunity to show ourselves worthy of that what God has given us. Our time, talent, gifts, and those things we most desire or need. In order to get a job we must go through a interview. For playing sports we must try out to make the team. In most things we have to be given opportunity to show that we are worthy enough to take part in that what we desire. I thank God that He sees us all as worthy enough to die for us. Just think if He did a background check on our lives before He made that decision. I know I would have been counted out. Thank you Lord for grace and mercy. Look at Joseph or David. What if they never got an opportunity to shine? Might Joseph still be in prison or David still tending sheep? What I am trying to say is, if you are in a position to give someone an opportunity to move up or succeed than let them try. If you give enough chances someone might just surprise you. I thank God someone gave me a chance. A young man with a broken past who in my mind deserved nothing better for myself, but God stepped in picked me up dusted me off He held me loved me and placed me in a position to succeed as He has for all of you.
