As we grow up, we have people who come into our lives and they make us see things differently or help us discover things about ourselves. Pat Pearson was one of those persons in my life. He was my brothers In-Home worker for a few years when I was a teenager and our families were close. I have many memories of the Pearson family and still have the book of poetry Pat gave to me one Christmas - it started my love of E.A. Poe and affirmed my love of reading and writing poetry. My brother was even an usher at Pats wedding :) Prayers of Peace, Love and Strength are going out to the Pearson Family today as they lay their Wife, Mom & Grandma to rest. Rest in Peace Nancy.
