As we leave our little two day get away before I sign off for the road; I been thinking a lot this morning. September with Ray being so sick and the unknown, long wait and now trying to fully recover has been one major big deal for our lives. The birth of Braelyn, helping Ashlee recover and all that has came with that September 22nd. has been a major adjustment for our lives. NOT complaining of any of it because Ray is going to be okay and lil man Braelyn is perfect in every way. I am thankful to God for strength, courage and the ability to be able to take the changes. I am very thankful for Ray that he is so patient with me. He tells me that when he was sick that I was so good to him in all ways and now it seems when I get ill, tired or just plain out daaaa he is there to be my support, understanding and yes at time my total frustration relief. At the end of the day (even with lil man right there between us) he always says: I love you Brenda and I also love him back. I thank God that Ray knows, understands and loves me, Branden, Ashlee and now lil man so very much. Not complaining just plain thankful we are blessed in many ways. Oh and Braelyn is worth it all! That little bundle of joy is work, sleepless nights, lots of laughs, doo doo s, pee pee and all kinds of other stuff but MOST OF ALL he is KIND, HE IS SMART AND HE IS IMPORTANT. ...... Ashlee brought one special very special gift straight from Heaven above to us all!
