As we listen to the new Parkinsons diagnosis of Robin Williams, lets not lose track of the reality that Depression led to Robins death. It does not matter what caused the Depression. Depression led to this great mans suicide. Depression leads to a suicide on average once every 13 minutes. We need to allow Depression to be accepted as a diagnosis and not kept under the rug. We need to help people help themselves. People need to know it is okay to accept help and treatment.
