As we sat down for lunch, my daughter cast a glance at me and said, Mommy, I sure wish I could see, with my eyes open, an angel. Oh how I wish. Her wish activated in me the compassion, tenderness, and creativity to grant her hearts desire. After a pause, I said, Follow me. She and I, along with my two other children, paraded to the darkened bathroom. With no windows or light in the small space, I closed the door and positioned my little ones. Then, I announced, Keep your eyes open, youre going to see an angel! At that instant, I turned on the light, and each saw, in the mirror, their own reflection! Thats me!! declared my daughter. Thats right. You ARE an angel. In disguise. But we are all angels, here to do Loves work. She smiled from ear to ear. And so are YOU. If you want to see an angel, to behold the face of God, go no further than your own reflection. Love lives, vibrant in you. I honor your spirit, angel friend. In you, love lives.
