As we start this new school year, full of high school sports, I think we all forget how important that high school coach is. Good or bad they have a huge impact on kids future. They are one of the most influential role models kids have. The GREATEST coaches in the world are not the ones with the most wins or the most professional athletes. The GREATEST coaches are the ones who take ordinary kids and make them believe they can do extraordinary things! In turn these kids become CEOs of large companies, doctors, missionaries, business owners, policeman, fireman, pilots, teachers,coaches, good parents. Although this seems simple it is not. Normally this achievement, for coaches, goes unrecognized by most. I promise that the kids who are lucky enough to be coached by one of the GREATS will not forget. I had the privilege to be coached by many GREAT coaches. Many times in my life in a struggle their encouraging words have come back to me and pushed me to achieve things I and others thought impossible. If you know a GREAT coach tell them THANK YOU. COACHES remember how important you are to a kids future! You make the difference.
