I love Christmas time. Everyone seems to be a little nicer, a little more gracious. Things are brighter from Christmas lights, (WHICH I LLLLOOOVVVEEE) with beautiful decorations sometimes assisted by the snow. Is so easy for me to feel the beauty and peace and spirit of Jesus everywhere. I talked to the kids about Christmas, and I let them vote. Spend money on toys and presents or put the money we spend towards a family trip. Visit places we want to see, ecperience new things and make memories together. they voted for the trips. We also decided that to lesson the anxiety of not having presents to pen, we are going to try and find somewhere to volunteer that day. Try and make a difference to others while being reminded of how fortunate we are. It will be a big adjustment but one I think will appreciate in the long run.
