As we unearth more things that need fixing/replacing, more grubbiness and deal with the challenges of not being able to use the kitchen along with the frustrations of feeling like the vendor got the best deal in town, we take pride in the fact that we can lovingly and tenderly bring this humble abode back to the former glory it deserves. I knew i wanted this house from the very first moment that we stepped foot in it 6 months ago. Today I started on one corner of the garden, as I dug and weeded and pruned old bushes that had never been touched i realised we are the lucky ones, the house also chose us. It needed someone to love it back and we are doing just that! One bit at a time and it will be a slow process, but this house will shine and get the attention it deserves!
