As we wrap this World Cup, I dread the idea of not having another game to watch for a while. This has been such an incredible months worth of soccer. Highs and lows. Moments of brilliance and moments of head scratching situations. Today the final has the most complete team in the world facing the team with the best player in the world. As a coach, I have to applaud the way Germany plays. Each player plays many different roles on the team and they play with such confidence. However, as a player, I love seeing a team that has tremendous individual talent. That is what Argentina has. Besides Messis tremendous talent, Higuain and Agüero are a joy to watch play. If Mascherano repeats his performance from the game against the Netherlands, Germany will have trouble winning this game. My heart will not let me choose against any team that has Messi on it. Therefore, I am hoping to see a game where Messi leaves the world saying WOW and confirms his greatness!! Anything less will be insufficient for a favorable result against the machines of Germany.
