As you age and lose the people that made you and loved you deep, without conditions, it becomes a different loneliness when theyre no longer here. Keep in touch with yourself cuz you have to live with you forever (LOL) and those you love for someday youll just have memories pictures and mementoes . The memories are so precious....they can make you laugh and make you cry and sometimes laugh and cry and the same time. I find myself doing that daily when I think of relatives & friends have passed away. I think of them everyday but holidays are a killer for me. Its still new and life isnt the same but its my life and thankfully, Im still here to enjoy watching the young grow, to see the trees turn red, gold and orange, to retire, to be on Medicare, to eat another turkey and to live each day with memories that I hope will continue to keep me strong until life is done. We dont get out of here alive so give thanks not only tomorrow but for every day you have your family by your side to share memories with. Its only an option while theyre still here with you. I do have MY regrets. Just a thought that I wanted to share. I get sentimental and it gets worse as I age..... Happy Thanksgiving..... From my ♥!
