As you all know I am Iranian blood Arab by birth and an Englishman by upbringing and it is on this day that I have the greatest privilege as a citizen, because today I re-sign that social contract with my state and vote for an elected representative. Its not perfect and by no means do I have my perfect candidate but at least its not a No choice but this person to vote for as is the case in Iran or no one to vote for in Qatar because it is a monarchy. Please exercise your right to participate in our wonderful democracy and get to your nearest polling station and vote. Vote with your conscience because billions of people around the world dont get this privilege afforded to them because of despots. Have a great day.
