As you all know, the 2014 season at Rapid Speedway has been cancelled, at least temporarily. There is a group trying to get the program back on the track this year, we hope to see racing in Rock Rapids again before the summer is out. Updates will be posted to this site. Also, as you likely read, previously posted was a letter stating that HRA and TRO Promotions were cancelling the season due to reasons with increasing prices between the local fire and EMS services. The organizations owe an apology to these groups as it has now come to light the “accusations” were a misunderstanding between the groups. We would like to extend our sincerest apology to anyone in the fire and EMS community, as well as the racing community, that we have offended or hurt. This was not the intention of the organizations. HRA and TRO Promotions wish only the best to the community and will stand behind anyone that promotes a program at Rapid Speedway. Hands down, the track has the best racers and fans in the country!
