As you already know, subscriptions for Lyric Opera Virginia’s 2013-14 exciting season are currently on sale. The season consists of four ninety-minute-or-so delightfully entertaining theatrical performances featuring marvelous music in the format of solos, duets, ensembles, and a children’s chorus from this year’s pilot children’s opera camp. Broadway and Beyond La Vie de Bohéme Master Class (an award-winning and fascinating play about Diva Maria Callas’ coaching and personal recollections during a voice master class at Julliard School of Music) Artists are being auditioned and selected for the performances, including well-known international and national voices, as well as outstanding young local singers who have attended LOV’s master classes and who are being coached by Maestro Joseph Walsh.
