As you know, I am FINALLY unpacking all these boxes of books and pictures. This is what I found today. The picture on the left is, of course, JIMMY DEAN. This photo was taken by JIMS friend, WILSON MILLAR. This sitting is from the photos that ELIA KAZAN saw when he was casting for East of Eden. Warners saw the pictures and became interested. However, they asked that JIMMY have his hair straightened. The rest......is history. The photo on the right is of me when I first hit Hollywood. Our mutual friend, WILSON, suggested I come up to the house in Laurel Canyon, and have some shots taken in his hillside garden. This must have been around the year, 1956. July, or August, Id say. I was all of 18 years old. Could I be more innocent?
