As you know I am NOT a fan of Xmas...not at all. In fact, I wish that the act of HAVING to give gifts on a particular day would be eliminated. Instead, why not just give things over the year because you WANT TO not because you feel you HAVE TO? Its like getting flowers from your husband for no reason. Means a lot more than on Valentines Day when people are obligated. Do nice things for no reason, give little trinkets for no reason other than you saw it and it made you think fondly of someone in particular. Stop commercializing and spending tons of money during the one season (at least in Northern Maine) when it costs a fortune to just have heat and lights. JMO...and dont berate me for HATING this ritual...its STUPID.
