As you know I travel a lot and most of the time I fly for free. I was talking to a friend today about the steps I used to get this happening for me and here they are in case any of you want to join the same program. Most of the banks have rewards programs but if you want to fly for free its vitally important that you get the bank to auto convert the rewards points across to your frequent flyer points as the points on the banks rewards are a completely different program:- Qantas Frequent Flyer Program (this is how I do it) 1. The first step is to join Qantas Frequent Flyer program on the following link:- https://qantas.au/fflyer/dyns/joinff 2. Once you have a Qantas FF number you need to join the Woolworths Every day rewards system on the following link:- https://everydayrewards.au/edr/static/rewards/anon/home/index.html Woolworths Everyday Rewards everydayrewards.au Make sure you give them your Qantas frequent flyer number. You can get multiple cards so get one for each member of the family on the same account. ( if you already have a card just contact them and add your QFF number to the card) 3. Contact your bank and find out if the credit card that you have is linked to Qantas Frequent flyers – It not get them to link it or change cards/providers as you need your card linked up. 4. If you are with Optus ring them and give them your Qantas Frequent Flyer number 5. Remember to give them the everyday rewards card whenever you spend money at BWS, Big W, David Jones etc as you will be surprised how fast they all add up. There are lots of other ways too but they are the main ones and you can read more about it on the Qantas website too. Hope that helps but ask away if you have any questions ;)
