As you may be aware from the media, the teacher trade union (NUT) will be taking industrial action on Wednesday 26th March. The action (a one day strike) will result in class closures in school. The decision to close part of the school or send pupils home is never taken lightly, but in this instance, where staff have elected to take lawful industrial action, I will have no choice but to take appropriate steps to ensure the health, safety and well-being of all pupils. Letters will be sent to the parents of the classes affected, and a list will be poster on the school website: sbcschools.org.uk/rosebrook
