As you may have heard, I took Quinn to see Cheap Trick at Hollywood Casino in Charles Town. Even though I paid over $100 for the tickets, the casino wouldnt let us in or refund my money because Quinn is only 19. My many pleas were ignored until a security guard took pity and talked to his supervisor, who in turn talked to Cheap Tricks tour manager, Carol. She was so incensed that the casino turned away a young drummer who wanted to see the band that she took us back to the dressing room. Quinn got to meet every band member, each of whom autographed the nights set list. Daxx Nielsen gave him the drumsticks used during the show, and Rick Nielsen and Tom Petersson gave him guitar picks. Plus, Carol gave us her e-mail and offered free tickets the next time the band is within driving distance. Cheap Trick is a class act.
