Asad confesses his love to Zoya and she says too little too late Zoya and Tanveer have a face-off, where Zoya realizes “nothing happened" and says to JkR “Tumhe tumhaare iraado samet khaak mein na daal diya to mera naam bhi Zoya Farouqui nahi hai" So, assuming both of the above are true and happen in that order, the jury is still out for me as follows: While Asad has accepted that he is madly in love with Zoya, can’t bear to be apart from her and is wrecked with guilt from hurting Zoya, he also feels guilty about having slept with his bf and that he couldn’t control himself If Zoya finds out from Tannu that Asad did succumb to his needs with Tannu, then theoretically she can tell Asad what Tannu said and for proof she can mention the phone call from his phone that told Zoya where to find them. Will Asad, while madly in love with Zoya and having heard Dilshad’s taali ek haath se nahi bajti speech, believe/trust Zoya when she tells him about Tanveers promise/threat/call re:SR or at least be willing to open-mindedly consider what she has to say? If yes, then the track has the possibility of the Tannu parda-faash to come fairly soon with Asya somehow teaming up and possibly other options I haven’t thought of If not, however, then while he might have passed the gate of having accepted/admitted his love for Zoya, he still does not trust her enough to consider her while he trusts Tannu blindly (see why below). This would mean while Zoya may still parda-faash Tannu and save Asad, she may not be willing to marry Asad right away. This takes the serial down the Maburt tracks etc because Asad will not have got passed the trust gate. Or… “happy place" that she understands the extent to which Tannu will go to and the hold she has over the vulnerable Asad and partners with Rabert. -->alex
