Well as many of you already know i finished 2 nd again last night in one of the best races ive been in in years...i was far better last night but at the very end Jeffrey Belt had a little more left than i did again...Last night at the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway the atmosphere of days gone past was back and alive...i was absolutely floored by the great turn out and also by the number of my personal friends from all times in my life that came out to support my racing effort...having almost 100 personal friends come see me and that felt just as good as a win..they were treated to a night of nights by the whole Fairgrounds staff,Tony Formosa,:Claire Formosa-Belt and the whole group of employees at the fairgrounds put on another block buster race card as they usually do ...i dont know how many fans were in attendance but id estimate at least 9000...ive been going there since 1967 and that reminded me of all of the glory years relived...also id like to say thanjs to every fan that came to support the fairgrounds because that lets all of the hayers of OUR race track know that it is STILL a staple un our community. ..its just as big as the titans,opry,sounds,preds,and all of the other things the mayor and his cronies tried to shut us down with...REMEMBER fans thats OUR property as taxpayers and it will be OUR responsibility to stand up for it and say no you cant have it its ours,because surely someday it may happen again..i will see all of you back september 7th for round 6 of one of the best seasons in history...the best is yet to come folks ,thank you all BJR#1
