Asalaamu Alaykum, Dear brothers and sisters in Islam who have got - TopicsExpress

Asalaamu Alaykum, Dear brothers and sisters in Islam who have got their exam results. Remember that the Best of creation Muhammed (ﷺ) and the best of generations did not have any GCSEs, A-LEVELS or DEGREES at all, yet they were the most intelligent and wed die to be in their positions even if we had passed our exams in this world with flying colours. Many of them were guaranteed paradise which is the ultimate reward, and they all embodied strong personalities and firm character that changed the world today. There is a myth that the level of Academia achieved equates to the level of intelligence you have and this is false indeed. One of my A-level business teachers in the past believed that flowers created the entire universe and she achieved 4 As in her A-levels and a distinction in her Masters degree. Weve seen professor Lawrence krauss and Dawkins say that the universe and its cause occured by itself without a prime cause, yet Im pretty sure if you tell them that you got an F grade in an exam they had set for you and told them there was no cause behind this grade theyd probably knock you out (possibly scientifically) The ability to reason deeply and rationalise with your mind in my view suggests level of intellect and not the academia. The Prophets (Alayhim as-salaam) and Sahaaba (RadyAllahu Anhum) were successful in the Dunya and Aakhirah and none on this planet even with their A-grades and distinctions could not even come near their feet in success. Why? Because success according to these secular academic institutions is understood through gradation by other humans in this world and therefore lies in wordly achievement, but true success which is what the Prophets and Sahaaba achieved is rewarded by Allahs pleasure and understood with the achievement in the hereafter. Allah All Mighty looked after their provisions whilst they looked after the Ummah and strove to do pious actions. Remember the greatest examination is in the grave where youll be asked 3 mighty questions and your belief, intentions, actions and sincerity will only help you pass them yet how many of us prepare for these questions like we do with these man made exams. Whatever grade you get in your GCSEs whether you passed or failed, by Allah! Remember you are somebody; your blood is greater than the Kaba, you are honoured by Allah in creation over the angels and the world, the amount you earn is written regardless of GCSEs or Degrees, you have a discerning and rational mind, you possess the ability to achieve more than a few letters given by people who cannot even clean themselves properly after they go to the toilet. There are dozens of ways or means to achieve material or limited things in this world, and the academic routes are not the only method. Many young entrepreneurs have achieved more material gains than academics in shorter spaces of time if this is how you even view the success. We compete as Muslims however, in a complete different race, and that is not in this temporal world but for the Aakhirah, for gardens with bridges under which rivers flow of milk, honey and wine, with hoor ul ayn that have wide eyes ♡ and palaces with golden and silver bricks with winds of musk and trees with different fruits with different taste with each bite, with our families and friends in the company of our Lord. ...Prepared for the believers who gave up this entire world in return for the hereafter. The Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) said Be in this world as if youre a stranger or traveller along a path (Sahih al Bukhari #6053) May Allah ﷻ grant us true success. Ameen
