Ascendant lord in the 7th house The 7th house is the third cardinal point of any chart and is opposite the ascendant which represented the self therefore it is specifically used to state about the individual’s wife. Generally the individual’s other partners beside wife, the prime partner, are also studied through this house. The ascendant lord when placed here makes the person’s life revolve around the spouse and other partners, the partners may be in business, conquest, sports or crime. The quality of life and experience would again depend on the nature, association and aspect the ascendant lord receives. Attachment and detachment both are revealed through this house. Spiritually this house may be said to be a house where the energy of the incarnate soul is dissipated or where the person’s ‘karma’ find a field to operate. Such individuals usually want to possess and dominate either a person or persons or a larger group. Two good examples of such persons are Adolf Hitler and Chatrapati Shivaji.
