Ashamed to be an Indian Today. Barely anyone out there even remembers Kargil anymore. Those guys fought on those mountain peaks, not for themselves, but for us. All of US!! We celebrate Bullshit like Valentines day but we dont give a damn that 527 Fathers/Sons/Husbands, took bullets to their chest, just so that we could live in peace. Why did they do it. I dont think they were stupid enough to just go and fall to enemy bullets. Something must be driving them. Do you know what it was? It was the love for this "Thankless Nation, and its thankless citizens" who they thought would be safe at the cost of their own lives. Its pointless writing anything else, for most would not bother or care what happened back then. Everyones gonna shed some crocodile tears if there is another war and our soldiers die. The very next year, they would be forgotten. The youth came out for Nirbhaya, did everything from candle light marches to protests. But , what about the guys who died fighting the bigger evils? Barely any newspaper came out with a article, at the least. Anyways, lets just sit down quite for a moment, and pray for those brave ones who lost their lives, and their families. Jai Hind!Demon
