RELEASE: Dave Sieders has missed the podium at the Bathurst 1000 for the first time in 5 years, after contact punctured his tyre in the final race of the round at the Mount Panorama Circuit for the 2014 Australian V8 Ute Racing Series - fuelled by Hogs Breath Cafe this weekend 9-12 October 2014. Sieders was on target to make it a double podium for his familys Sieders Racing Team, with Rhys McNallys Stratco V8 Ute Racing Team taking out the round with two race wins, however, contact from Ryal Harris for the second time in two days at The Chase saw Sieders fail to classify for a finish for the first time since his rookie season. Sieders now trails Kris Walton by 65 points on the ARMOR ALL Australia & New Zealand Leaderboard.
