Ashley Update: Well today was one of those days where we were Happy to see Ash come out of the Bone Flap Placement, surgically GREAT but the blow to her beautiful face made me so,so MAD, bruised from her cheeks back face, & eyes so swelled,she could hardly see out of them,her head shaved again from front to 3/4 back, what this girl has had to go through since December 16th is so terrible, and she greets us with a happy face & tells us she loves us. Overall everything went Great, we have to watch her closely for fever,any unusual redness,keep her head clean & dry.We left U.C. Davis Hospital @ 5:00 pm & arrived @ CareMeridien ,greeted by staff & house guests.Staff got busy reviewing all her paperwork, examining her head & getting her vitals,counting her staples & stitches, so when removal time comes well know how many to get out,cant miss any could cause infection down the road.Ash was glad to be back, had dinner, then outside to enjoy some warm fresh air, then said she was tired & wanted to go to bed, so we put her down & called it a night.
