“Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you.” ~ Luke 11:9 What do you ask for when you pray, and why do you ask it? Do you pray for things that will bring glory to God, or comfort to you? Do you trust that our heavenly Father will answer your prayers, understanding that sometimes the answer is ‘not now’ or ‘no’? Do you believe that He loves you, and like any good parent wants what is best for you (which is not always what you think that you want for yourself)? Persist in prayer always, lay your petitions at His feet and then let go and trust that your prayers will be answered.
