Ask yourself this, what incentive do intelligent, logical, influential, impactful, trustworthy, and generally valuable individuals have to get into politics? What would it take to get people like Elon Musk, Warren Buffet, Steve Hawking, etc, to become leaders of the free world? Why do we have to sort through scammers, liars, egomaniacs, and spies when pretending to have a vote? I just cant imagine why anyone with a bright future would ever get into politics, and I think thats a root of the problem. Crowds do not make good decisions, they make compromises and defensive moves. Progress comes from aggression and leadership. Our politicians are embarrassing in this context.
