Asking for Thai language crash-course (listening and speaking emphasis) suggestions: Hello all. First of all, wanted say that I am big fan of what you guys do here. Pages like this are a true inspiration. Recently, I entered into a bid to win a free trip from Tokyo (where I live) to Bangkok that would have me in there next weekend. I have 0 Thai abilities now. Any quick and good crash courses that I can get my hands on via the net to dive into listening and speaking? I know of Glossika which I have used for other languages, big fan of Stu. Jay but havent gotten into his course yet. I need something with good time-performance. Hopefully cost-performance as well- i.e., less than 100 USD so I can spend more money in Thailand and less on learning materials. Later I am all about getting deeper into the language with courses, maybe italki lessons or whatever but not for now.
