Asking for prayers for my daughter, Shelly Coleman Billups. She is having surgery on her spine tomorrow, 9/15/14. They have to go through the front and remove all of her internal organs to be able to do it. They are removing a piece of bone and fusing L4 and L5 plus some other procedures. They will then go through her back to put a cage around all of the work to keep it in place. It is dangerous because it is so close to her spinal cord. The surgery lasts around 4 hours. A thoracic spine surgeon is doing the work because of all of the blood vessels involved. Thanks for your prayers.
