Asking my friends to please be patient and understanding while I try to figure out how to enjoy my peeps and things, given my current health challenges. As much as I may want to see and support my friends, making/keeping plans has been increasingly difficult as I try to navigate how to cope with frequent pain/nausea. I do not enjoy canceling on friends or missing work; it is often a last resort after meds are unhelpful or unavailable. It makes me very sad to not be able to do things or see ppl I care about. I try not to let this disease change me, but it is changing my life. I will figure out how to live and love better with some time and adjustments. I hope my friends will help me.
