✦✿✦Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu✦✿✦ The prayer was made obligatory upon all Muslims in the 7 heaven when the Prophet (salla Allahu alahi wa sallam ) had the miraculous night journey to the 7 th heaven in one night then he came back and that was in the period of Mecca dawa. Once you look into it and how it was revealed to the Prophet (salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam) you will be amazed by it. At the very beginning Allah made it 50 prayers during the day and night and by far if it was as then, if we where supposed to do 50 prayers per day and night most Muslims if not all would not do it because they are so lazy. When the Prophet came back (salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam ) he was met by the Prophet Musa (Moses) may Allah be pleased with him. So he told him “what happened?” So the Prophet said “Allah has given me 50 prayers during the day and night that I should perform my nation and myself. Moses told him “go back again to your lord and ask him to reduce them because I know my people, I have been dealing with the sons of Israel for so long so I know them, they are going to cause a lot of problems for you so back again. The Prophet went back and Allah reduced them and every time he went to Moses and told him go back again and Allah kept on reducing them until they became 5 daily prayers in the day and night. Moses was not satisfied and he told him go back to your lord again and ask him for another reduction of this 5. So the Prophet Muhammad (salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said “I can not, this is too much, I’m embarrassed of going on and of to my lord and ask him to reduce the prayers, ### so Allah declared “if things to not change whatever I declared, they have to stay as they are; it is 5 daily prayers, but you will be rewarded for 50”.###
