Assalamu aleikum, The Muslim men that we celebrate were the people of izza they ruled the world. The difference between these men and us is that -they knew how to pray and prayed, filling the mosque at Fajr. -they spent of what they had no matter how little it was. -they were engrossed in the Quran and implemented it. -whatever Allah or His Messenger (S.A.W) commanded they obeyed. But most importantly they were men. As ibn Abbas said -the best of us are the ones with most wives. -they had qawwama over their wives. -they maintained them, took care of the household affairs and were not controlled by women. -they could not be restricted by their women from marrying a second, a third or a fourth wife. For they sort believing muslim women (not like the women we have today who imitate the kufar women yet call themselves believing women) -they understood the metaphor of the creation of Eve. -they did not have to rely on their wives to cover half of the household expenses. They were real men. Oh Allah restore the manhood of the Muslim men and restore the izza of the Ummah.
