Well I waited to see it posted before I made any statements so here it goes. This year of racing has been hands down our most difficult. Started out good with Brock winning his first weekend out and Jason struggling his first 2 races. Then Jason found his groove. It was June 19th that Jasons motor broke the crank and he had to use Novaks motor to win the Division 5 race for the second year in a row. It was his next race at TriState with fresh motor that he then broke the cam and had to use Brocks car to keep racing for the weekend. Brock was gracious enough to offer Jason his car and sit out while his brother kept racing. Every weekend since June Jason has had a different motor on his car or the motor was going through break-in mode again cause it was refreshed since previous weekend. We had to ship motors back and fourth to JrRacecar in Colorado 8 times, but they never gave up their commitment to have us a motor on race day. With all that said we are very proud to say that Jason won the 2014 track championship at Tri-State Raceway by 1 point over the always tough second place Val Steffens. It came down to the wire for sure. AND, so cool to see Brock right there with his 3rd place finish. This is our first track championship win and the first time both boys finished in top 5 and Tri-state. Looking back we had alot of fun this year and are looking forward to next year. Thanks to all the fellow Jr racers, track personal, and friends for great year.
