The Night Of Power: Id first learnt about it when I was 4 years old. Ill get whatever I pray for, I was told. My ambitions were pretty high for my age. If Im asking The Lord of the universe for something, why ask for pocket change? Go big, or go home. The next day, as we were walking through a crowded bazaar in Hyderabad Deccan, my frustration and disappointment were obvious, much to the amusement of my aunts. I ran and leapt in the air a gazillion times, but somehow gravity kept getting the better of me. You see, ... Id prayed for Supermans powers. In these final 10 nights of Ramadan, may you all seek this blessed night, and be fortunate enough to find it. If you dont find it, may it find you prostrated to God, praying for yourself, your loved ones, and for all mankind. May you all be inspired to seek The Most High Himself, and the loftiest of all things you could ask for in this night - His forgiveness for our faults and imperfections, and His acceptance of us, in-spite of how we are. Peace, until the rise of the dawn.
