Assalamualaikum Brothers/Sisters, Just some days ago I’ve seen - TopicsExpress

Assalamualaikum Brothers/Sisters, Just some days ago I’ve seen a post from a brother from AIUB and that seems the most relevant to show that AIUB is doing good. There were logic, success stories and other achievements. However, today I’ve seen another BROTHER’s post from the same university and to me that was really offensive. However, it might be so damn appropriate for some people. Many people might be like “The boy/man/gentleman has some guts to offend others” And this is how things actually are. It might be right for some people at the same time it might be completely opposite for many. It actually totally depends on your values/perceptions/ideas, and these values/perceptions/ ideas develop from your family, friends, peers, groups, knowledge, beliefs etc. You cannot decide whether it’s right or wrong except referring from the Holy Books of Religion (see that’s my belief too). Look BROTHER, you cannot decide which university is the best in Bangladesh. To me, I just know and have got admitted at UIU so I know what UIU is. And if someone appreciates what UIU is doing right now and has no regret then UIU is THE BEST to him/her. That is the basis of how actually I see this. Same goes for others. At the same time, if I consider other basis there might be the opposite outcome of the same scenario. Let me give you an example. Suppose it’s so easy to get high CGPA from “X University” although nobody even hears the name of the institution. But a person is guaranteed that he will get a job if the person can achieve high CGPA regardless his University. So his best option will be “X University”. Like this there are lots of basis you might consider, for instance, faculty qualification, discipline, study approach, internship, scholarship/waiver, cost, facilities, job field, canteen, campus, extracurricular, clubs, awards, sports, male/female students, stuffs, administration, admission test, total environment, media (not only TV/newspaper) etc. It’s totally your choice. So why I appreciate UIU, The teachers are highly qualified and they know how to teach. The authority is very strict which might be not so favorable for many (trust me it’ll help you in future as an ex-student of one of the best & disciplined school & college of Bangladesh I know that very well). There are good internship opportunities. There are facilities and opportunities of extracurricular activities, good scholarship system, and good environment. There are seniors who are really helpful. All the deserving graduates are in good positions (You can ask me about the success stories of UIU graduates, CHOICE is yours!), and more. Alhamdulillah! It’s all good to me. So, I appreciate UIU as a student. Does this build my future? Will it give me more knowledge about the inside and outside of the world? So, I’m going to get a good job, right? Or start a business and live happily? NO! It’s completely ME who can build my own future. It depends on ME whether I seek knowledge or not. It depends on how fit I AM to match the criteria of the interviewer. It depends on ME how I run my business. And that’s how I can keep my family, relatives, peers, school, college, University, myself at a higher position. Thousands of posts you can make regularly in this group but ask yourself if you put any of the nouns/pronouns replacing ME could give your answer or doing comparison can make it. If you really want to do the publicity for your institution, tell us more about the achievements just like the brother I’ve mentioned at first but don’t pull others’ leg. So, MY DEAR BROTHER(S), it’s not my advice/suggestion/recommendation, it’s a request please try to understand it’s you who can raise your institutions at a higher place, it’s not only the institutions that can raise you higher. And see you post the screenshot just to neglect UIU and many people started abusing UIU because they already considered you as a UIUians but you’re not. These are some baseless arguments we’re making here. Yeah, we should stand for our beliefs, but never go on debate or arguments with stupid; DO EDUCATE them. I hope you‘ve got my message. And all the brothers/sisters, there are NOT only good (or bad), try to understand the WORDS from your religion, practice those. In sha Allah, our life will be easier. Allah knows the best. May Allah bless us all!
