Assalamualaikum, Continued from the previous post... It is proven from Al-Saheehayn that Zayd ibn Khaalid (radh) said : The messenger of Allah (sallahu allai wa salam) addressed us in Al-Hudaybiyah, after it had rained at night, and said : Do you know what your Lord said this night? We said : Allah (swt) and His messenger knows best. He (sallahu allai wa salam) said : This morning some of Ibadi (My slaves) remained as tue believers and some became disbelievers; whoever said that the rain was due to the Blessings and the Mercy of Allah (swt) is the one who believes in Me and he disbelieves in the star, and whoever said that it rained because of a particular star is a disbeliever in Me and believer in the star. [Al-Bukhaari 1038, Muslim 71]. In Saheeh Muslim it is narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (sallahu allai wa salam) said : Allah does not send any blessings down from heaven but some people become kaafirs because of it. Allah sends down ran and they said it is because of such and such a star. The point is that the planets and stars do not have any effect on events, or any peoples misery or happiness. Focusing on this knowledge is kind of a speculation and conjecture. ...To be continued.... The next post will discuss about the address of Shaykh ul Islam ibn Tayymiyah (rah) to astrologers in Damascus. Stay tuned, and spread the message. Do like us if you find it useful. Wa salam
