Asset Management-Investment Analyst Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Job Description: •Providing coverage of assigned companies and sectors under coverage to the Portfolio Managers in order to generate investment ideas and enhance performance of various equity products •Assisting Investment Analysts in defining and actively managing a stock-picking list for the local and regional equity markets •Monitoring trends in the equity markets, particularly in the domestic equity market and in the stocks in AMD client model templates •Assisting in building the Research Database - Gathering company annual reports - Assisting in arranging management meetings with assigned listed companies - Developing financial models for valuation - Producing research reports on assigned companies •Reviewing the covered companies on Quarterly basis with the Analysts and share views with the CIO and portfolio managers in morning meetings, weekly meetings and monthly investment meetings •Managing the preparation and maintenance of financial models and data sheets for covered companies and sectors •Assisting in communicating clear decisions and instructions in the event of Corporate Actions affecting stocks in templates •Assisting in preparing investment briefs for the Chief Investment Officer/ Head of Asset Management and Portfolio Managers to ensure timely decisions on investments •Participating in Investment Strategy Meetings •Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of quarter-end market performance and commentary to clients •Assisting in reviewing the research process and suggesting ways to improve it, to make it more efficient •Participating in the construction and maintenance of Equity templates for AMD •Participating actively in various Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Investment and Strategy team meetings within AMD •Completing projects within the required period of time that are assigned from time to time •Motivating team members to “think outside the box” in terms of investments and probable trade ideas •Providing regular input to the Portfolio Managers on market conditions and investment strategy •Contributing to an atmosphere that fosters teamwork and remains conducive to a healthy and competitive work environment within AMD •Ensuring that you follow the Organization code of conduct and adhere to the rule of law as stipulated by the CMA Desired Profile: •Bachelor’s degree •Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment •Strong analytical skills and ability to organize and analyze large amounts of data •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) •Must be detail oriented, self-motivated and have excellent organizational skills •Effective written and verbal communication skills
