Assistant Production Manager,Silverton/Waltloo,R360000CTC- entire line whilst present for shift. 1. Check and understand planning: - Planning sheets per customer - Mixing sheets - Packing lists 2. Ensure efficient running of the deparment on both Tortilla and bun line so as to achieve best efficiencies on both time as well as product. Work closely with other management team members to ensure this. Quality is very important. 3. Manage supervisor / packaging supervisor on shift as well as all staff on the production floor. Co-ordination of staff. Ensure correct placement. Effective staff planning. 4. Hygiene: Ensure that the correct standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained at all times throughout the facility and grounds. 5. Ensure correct HR procedures are followed in respect to general day to day running of the operations as well as with respect to leave planning, days off and absenteeism. 6. Ensure correct maintaining of ALL production records. 7. Ensure that supervisors fill in the daily supervisor stats accurately. 8. Ensure that packing lists are signed off by packaging department before signing stock over to Despatch. 9. Trays: Ensure sufficient trays for shift. 10. Check that all check lists are done and signed off by the supervisors. 11. Make sure plant is up to spec for STAR/AIB audits. 12. Work with QA to ensure all quality issues have been taken care of before the next run starts. 13. Ensure baking aspects are covered especially formulations.
