Today I needed some durable medical equipment and I went to Zarchys Pharmacy. I had the pleasure to visit with Donald Zarchy, the grandson of Solomon, the founder who has had a presence in Woodside as a pharmacy since the 1930s. Here is Mr Zarchy with his lovely wife Theresa. I will be posting a wonderful photo of Donalds dad Joseph who had the store at the original location on 61 St by the Q53 bus. We had a wonderful time reminiscing about old Woodside.
