Associate Professor of Business Administration and New London energy chair Bill Spear invites you to the Solarize Kearsarge launch event on Saturday, Oct. 18 at Colby-Sawyer College. The event is a great opportunity to learn about the benefits and costs of Solar Electric (PV) systems and to connect first-hand with the community’s selected installation partner. After the meeting, attendees are invited to a tour of New Hampshire’s first solar-powered brewery at the Flying Goose Brewpub and Grill. The ultimate goal of this 15-week initiative, coordinated by Vital Communities, is to double the number of solar installations in New London, Andover and Wilmot. I cannot imagine a better opportunity for residents and local small businesses to learn about solar PV or a better time for us to take action, says Spear.
